Maison Poirier is a charming 18th century cottage set in 1 1/2 acres, nestled in the heart of the Cognac producing region. The cottage comfortably sleeps 8 in it’s 3 spacious bedrooms (1 double and 1 twin on the ground floor and 1 double and twin combined on the first floor). There is a large well equipped kitchen/dining room (which opens to the courtyard with French doors) and a spacious lounge for relaxing. There is a shower room and wc on the ground floor (ideal for those who find stairs a problem) and a further en-suite shower room on the first floor.

Kitchen

Oven and hob, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, coffee maker, ironing facilities. Sufficient crockery, cutlery and glassware for 8. Seating for 8 in the dining area with woodburning stove.

Double bedroom

Situated on the ground floor with ample storage space.

Twin bedroom

A large bedroom for 2,  a cot can also be added on request. This bedroom is next to the double bedroom on the ground floor.

The cottage also benefits from central heating and 2 wood-burning stoves for out of season bookings. There are also videos, books and games provided.

All bed linen is supplied and pool towels are available on request. Out of courtesy, we ask guests to refrain from smoking within the cottage.

Internet connection available.

For families with babies we can offer high chairs, buggy, stair-gates, cots, fireguard, baby bath, potty, etc. .

An enclosed 10m x 5m shared swimming pool (with sunbeds, parasols and inflatable toys).
Stone Summerhouse overlooking the pool for shaded dining in the day and evening bbq’s (with CD player, fridge, bbq, dining tables, chairs and sofas).

Games pitch for badminton, football, croquet and boules.
